‘Barbie’ and ‘Oppenheimer’ Smash Box Office Records

Over the weekend, the movies “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer” had a massive box office success, Variety reports.

“Barbie” earned $155 million, surpassing expectations and broke records for a film directed by a woman.

Christopher Nolan’s R-rated historical drama “Oppenheimer,” also performed remarkably well, earning $80.5 million.

The success of both movies contributed to the fourth-biggest overall weekend in box office history.
