Taylor Swift has officially become the richest female musician in the world, with an estimated net worth of $1.6 billion, surpassing Rihanna, who has a net worth of $1.4 billion, Euronews reports.
Swift is now the second richest musician overall, behind Jay-Z, whose net worth is $2.5 billion. Swift’s wealth is largely attributed to the success of her Eras Tour, contributing approximately $600 million from tour revenues and royalties, another $600 million from her music catalog, and $125 million from real estate investments. She also earned $100 million from Spotify streaming royalties, driven by her albums Midnights and the re-recorded 1989 (Taylor’s Version).
Swift is set to conclude her Eras Tour in North America from October 18 to early December. Recently, she also endorsed Kamala Harris for president, which drew criticism from Donald Trump, who expressed his disdain for Swift on social media.
