Several country stars and celebrities mobilized to assist those affected by Hurricanes Helene and the incoming Hurricane Milton, with Taylor Swift donating $5 million to Feeding America to support hunger relief efforts in storm-affected areas, Reuters reports.
Country stars, including Keith Urban, Luke Combs, and Eric Church, are organizing a “Concert for Carolina” on October 26 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, to raise funds for Helene’s victims. Country singer Morgan Wallen helped collect supplies at a food drive in Knoxville, Tennessee, and previously donated $500,000 to the American Red Cross for hurricane relief.
Country superstar Dolly Parton contributed $1 million from her personal funds and an additional $1 million through her businesses, stating, “These are my people and this is my home.”
