On Monday, an uncertain week-long ceasefire began between Sudan’s army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF), Al Jazeera reports.
On Saturday, the US and Saudi Arabia brokered a ceasefire agreement between the two factions after five weeks of fierce fighting.
The conflict has displaced over 1.1 million people from their homes, including more than 250,000 who fled into neighboring countries.
