On Friday, Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. Chief Financial Officer Gustavo Arnal fell to his death from a skyscraper in Manhattan's Tribeca neighborhood.

Arnal was one of the Bed Bath & Beyond executives behind the company’s recent recovery plan, which include cutting 20% of jobs and closing up to 150 stores.
The 52-year-old joined the retailer in May 2020 during the coronavirus pandemic.
