Musk Defends His Ketamine Use as Beneficial for Investors

Elon Musk revealed in a video interview with Don Lemon that his ketamine prescription has been beneficial for Tesla investors by helping him manage a negative state similar to depression, Reuters reports.

Musk highlighted the importance of execution for Wall Street in the interview and argued that Tesla’s value rivals the entire car industry combined. Musk told Lemon he has a doctor’s prescription for ketamine, which he takes in small amounts every other week, stating that “for investors, if there’s something I’m taking, I should keep taking it.”

This follows a Wall Street Journal investigation into Musk’s reported drug use earlier this year, claiming he had used drugs, including LSD, cocaine, ecstasy and psychedelic mushrooms, which raised concerns among executives and board members at his companies.
