At least 41 people have been killed in a suspected rebel attack on a school in Mpondwe-Lhubiriha, Uganda, near the border of Kongo, AP News reports.
Armed militants raided the school during the night, killing 38 students, one guard, and two local residents. Six more students were abducted by the rebels.
Authorities accuse the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), an extremist group that opposes the rule of Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, to be behind the massacre.
