China gives the green light for the country’s first self-produced mRNA vaccine against Covid-19, reports BBC.
Developed by CSPC Pharmaceutical Group, the vaccine will be available for emergency use, the company said.
Studies have shown that Chinese vaccines have been less effective than mRNA shots in preventing deaths, but authorities refused foreign alternatives.
