Russian President Vladimir Putin said that China’s peace proposal could serve as a basis to end the war in Ukraine, when the West and Kyiv are ready, reports BBC.
The statement comes after Chinese President Xi Jinping’s three-day state visit to Moscow to discuss the twelve points peace plan.
Ukraine has previously said that Russian troops must withdraw from its territory as a condition for any negotiations with Moscow.
