Russia Accuses Ukraine of Drone Attack on Putin’s Residence

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov claimed Ukraine launched 91 long-range drones at Russian President Vladimir Putin’s residence in Novgorod.
Lavrov reported that all the drones were intercepted with no damage or injuries. Moscow labels the alleged incident “state terrorism” and says it would reassess its negotiating stance, warning of possible retaliation.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha denied the attack, calling it a deliberate attempt to undermine ongoing peace negotiations.
Kyiv and its allies stress Russia has provided no evidence and accuse Moscow of creating a pretext for further attacks on Ukraine.
U.S. President Donald Trump says Putin raised the allegation in a phone call, expressing concern and promising to verify evidence.
