The EU Parliament is the latest EU body that has decided to ban the TikTok app on employees’ mobile phones for security reasons, reports Reuters.
The app is owned by China’s ByteDance, and the ban is due to growing concerns that the Chinese government could monitor or exploit users’ data.
China has denied all such allegations.
