On Wednesday, Elon Musk said his wireless brain chip developed by his company Neuralink will begin human clinical trials in six months.

The first two human applications of Neuralink’s brain chip will be to enable movement of muscles and restore vision, even in people born completely blind.
Musk wants the chip to one day be able to control electronic devices, help paralyzed patients regain motor function and treat brain diseases like Parkinson’s, dementia and Alzheimer’s.
