Country music star Dolly Parton has received the “Courage & Civility Award,” worth $100 million from Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.

The 76-year-old singer and philanthropist has founded a number of charities, including the Dollywood Foundation, which focuses on education and poverty relief.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Parton donated $1 million to Vanderbilt University’s Medical Center to help develop a vaccine.
Parton famous for hits like “I Will Always Love You,” “Jolene,” and many more, was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame this month.
