Amber Heard's legal team has filed a 43-page motion arguing that the verdict was flawed and questioning the validity of the jury.
Amber Heard recently lost a legal battle against her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, after a jury found her liable for three claims of defamation.
In 2018, Heard described herself as a victim of domestic and sexual abuse without directly mentioning Depp, in the Washington Post.
Now, Heard's lawyers challenge the validity of the trial, due to a discrepancy in the date of birth of Juror 15. They claim he was born in 1970, rather than 1945.
They question if Juror 15 actually got a summon and is eligible to serve on the jury, if not then the verdict should be invalidated and the case retried.
