Google will Start Auto-Deleting Visits to Abortion Clinics from User Location History

On Friday, Google says it'll soon start automatically removing trips to abortion clinics, domestic violence shelters, weight loss clinics from users' location history.
The firm says once the algorithm have determined that a visit was made to one of the places, then deletion will take place "short after" the visit.

Google will also release an update for Fitbit's health monitoring feature, that will let you delete multiple menstruation logs at once.

These privacy changes are intended to remove sensitive data that may be used to prosecute someone for seeking medical attention.
This change is happening following the decision of the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade and the rapid moves of several states to ban abortion.
