Poland Will Not Send Troops to Ukraine

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that Poland will not send troops to Ukraine but will continue to support Ukraine with humanitarian, military aid, and logistical and political support. The statement comes after British Prime Minister Keir Starmer became the first European leader to offer peacekeeping troops in Ukraine.

Tusk emphasized Poland’s commitment to cooperation with Ukraine, the EU, and the U.S., amid growing concerns that U.S. support for Ukraine could waver under President Donald Trump’s leadership. Tusk also stressed the importance of European investment in defense capabilities and fulfilling security guarantees for Ukraine.
