Ukraine’s military has reportedly launched a strike on a major oil terminal in Feodosia, Crimea, which supplies fuel to the Russian army, as part of its efforts to undermine Russia’s military capabilities, AP News reports.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky described the war as entering a critical phase as both sides navigate the challenges of sustaining their military efforts. Ukraine has intensified its attacks on vital Russian logistics to weaken its military capabilities, particularly in the eastern Donetsk region. The Ukrainian General Staff noted that this strike is part of a broader strategy to undermine Russia’s military and economic capabilities.
Meanwhile, Russia launched missile and drone attacks on Ukraine, causing minor damage in Kyiv but no reported injuries, with Ukrainian air defenses intercepting some of the missiles. Ukraine hopes to secure long-range weapons from Western allies, with discussions expected at an upcoming defense meeting in Germany.
