Michigan inmate Derrick Lee Smith was awarded a $100 million judgment against Sean “Diddy” Combs after accusing the rapper of drugging and sexually assaulting him nearly 30 years ago, Reuters reports.
The judgment was issued by default in Lenawee County Circuit Court after Combs failed to appear in the virtual hearing. Combs’ attorney Marc Agnifilo dismissed the claims, stating that Combs had never heard of Smith, who is a convicted felon serving a 75-year prison sentence for sexual misconduct and kidnapping. Combs plans to have the judgment dismissed.
