An amended lawsuit filed in federal court on Sunday accuses rapper Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs of raping a 13-year-old girl at a party in 2000, following the MTV Music Awards in New York, Reuters reports.
The lawsuit, initially filed in October, did not name Jay-Z but now identifies him as “Celebrity A.” The lawsuit, filed by attorney Tony Buzbee, claims the girl was drugged and assaulted by both men at a party hosted by Combs. Jay-Z has denied the allegations on social media, calling the lawsuit a “blackmail attempt,” while Combs, who is already facing federal sex trafficking charges, also denies involvement.
Buzbee, who has filed multiple civil suits against Combs for alleged sexual misconduct, claims Jay-Z’s legal team attempted to intimidate his firm through harassment tactics. Buzbee recently sued the law firm Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, whose lawyers represent Combs and Jay-Z, accusing them of harassing his clients, colleagues, and family.
