Despite an ongoing offensive into Russia’s Kursk region, Ukrainian forces are losing ground near critical areas like Pokrovsk, where Russian forces continue to advance. Russia’s superior ammunition, air power, and new tactics, such as small infantry waves that are difficult to target, have complicated Ukrainian defense efforts.
