Nine Detained in Tajikistan Connected to Moscow Concert Hall Attack

Nine individuals from Tajikistan have been detained by Tajikistan’s state security service for suspected ties to the perpetrators of the recent attack on a Moscow concert hall, which resulted in 144 deaths, Associated Press reports.

Russian security forces were involved in the operation to apprehend these suspects, which are also suspected of having connections to the Islamic State group. Russian officials have previously arrested eleven suspects, including the four alleged attackers.

The Investigative Committee of Russia claims to have evidence suggesting that the attackers received significant financial support, including cryptocurrency, from Ukraine. However, Ukraine denies involvement, asserting that Russia is using these allegations as a pretext to escalate conflict in Ukraine.
