Russia Detains 11 Suspects After Moscow Concert Hall Attack

Russian authorities have detained eleven individuals in connection with the attack at a concert hall in Moscow, resulting in the death of at least 93 people, including three children, Associated Press reports.

Russia’s Federal Security Service detained eleven suspects, with four directly involved in the assault. The suspects were apprehended near the Ukrainian border, allegedly intending to cross into Ukraine. While the Islamic State group claimed responsibility, Russian agencies hinted at a possible link to Ukraine. However, Ukrainian officials denied any involvement in the incident.

Meanwhile, Moscow citizens rallied to donate blood and plasma in response to the tragedy, the deadliest attack in Russia for years, which occurred shortly after President Vladimir Putin’s re-election.
