IBM Suspends Advertising on X

IBM has temporarily suspended advertising on X (formerly Twitter) after a report revealed that the tech company’s ads were placed next to antisemitic content on the platform, CNBC reports.

The move comes after a report by Media Matters for America found ads for several companies, including Apple, Bravo, Oracle, Xfinity, and IBM, next to posts promoting Hitler and the Nazi Party on X.

IBM stated that it has zero tolerance for hate speech and discrimination, and it has suspended all advertising on X while it investigates the situation.

An X spokesperson told CNBC that the accounts posting hateful content would no longer be monetizable, and the content would be labeled not safe for work, limiting its reach.
