Climate Activist Greta Thunberg Pleads Not Guilty After Arrest at London Protest

Climate activist Greta Thunberg and four other protesters pleaded not guilty to a public order offence charge in a British court, Reuters reports.

Thunberg was arrested on October 17 during an environmental protest in London, where she and other demonstrators locked arms to obstruct the entrances to a hotel hosting an oil and gas conference.

Thunberg, known for her global climate activism, was released on bail, and if found guilty, she could face a fine. Her trial is set for February 1.
