Snapchat Surpasses 400 Million Users

Snapchat has reached over 400 million users, the app grew by nine million new users to 406 million daily active users in the last quarter, a 12% increase from the previous year, Engadget reports.

Snap reported $1.19 billion in revenue for the quarter, a 5% increase from the previous year, surpassing Wall Street expectations.

Snap attributed part of its success to Snapchat+, a subscription service that offers exclusive features for $4 a month and recently reached five million subscribers.

Additionally, Snap’s generative AI chatbot MyAI has reached over 200 million users and exchanged more than 20 billion messages. The company considers it one of the most widely used AI chatbots available.
