Elon Musk said that X (formerly Twitter) will soon introduce video and voice call features, but did not specify a release date, AP News reports.
The features will be available for users on Apple and Android devices as well as computers, with “No phone numbers needed.”
X also updated its privacy policies, allowing the collection of biometric data, employment history, and other information, starting from September 29.
While Musk didn’t specify what biometric data would be collected, this category typically includes fingerprints and facial recognition.
