Wagner mercenary leader Yevgeny Prigozhin is presumed dead following a plane crash north of Moscow that killed all 10 people on board, Reuters reports.
The crash comes two months after Prigozhin led an armed rebellion against the Russian military, which was later aborted.
However, Prigozhin had been allowed to relocate to Belarus as part of a deal made with the Kremlin following the mutiny.
The cause of the crash is unclear, but it raises suspicions due to Prigozhin’s history and fallout with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
