Ukraine’s security service (SBU) claims to have foiled a plot to assassinate President Volodymyr Zelensky, The Guardian reports.
A woman suspected of gathering intelligence about Zelensky’s movements was arrested attempting to pass intelligence data to Russian secret services.
The SBU alleges that the woman was gathering information about Zelensky’s visit to the Mykolaiv region, where Russia was planning a major air assault.
The woman allegedly sought information about electronic warfare systems and ammunition warehouses.
