Tesla’s chief financial officer Zach Kirkhorn has stepped down from his role as of Friday, the automaker announced on Monday, CNBC reports.
Kirkhorn has served as CFO since 2019 and worked for Tesla since 2010, will remain with the company until the end of the year to assist in the transition.
Tesla has appointed chief accounting officer Vaibhav Taneja as the new CFO, he will hold both roles concurrently.
Taneja has been with Tesla since 2017 and was previously associated with SolarCity before its acquisition by Tesla.
