Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said that Yevgeny Prigozhin, the leader of Russia’s Wagner group, is no longer in Belarus, Reuters reports.
Lukashenko previously stated that Prigozhin had arrived in Belarus as part of a deal, but now claims that Prigozhin is in St. Petersburg or Moscow.
However, the situation underscores the uncertainties surrounding the agreement and the relocation of the Wagner group to Belarus.
