Tesla Data Leak Reveals Thousands of Safety Complaints

Tesla has experienced a “massive” data leak of 100 gigabytes of confidential data, according to a report by Handelsblatt, The Guardian reports.

The “Tesla Files” contain a large number of complaints regarding Tesla’s driver assistance programs, with 4,000 complaints on sudden acceleration and phantom braking.

The leak also contains more than 100,000 names of former and current employees with private email addresses, phone numbers and salaries.

It also includes the social security number of Tesla CEO Elon Musk, bank details of customers and secret details from production.
