On Thursday, Ukraine secured the release of 106 captured soldiers, including eight officers, in a prisoner exchange with Russia, Reuters reports.
The soldiers were captured fighting in the eastern Ukrainian city of Bakhmut, which Russia claims to have captured.
Since the invasion, Ukraine has been able to secure the release of 2,430 prisoners, including 139 civilians.
