On Thursday, Russia and Belarus signed an agreement for the deployment of tactical nuclear missiles on Belarusian territory, Reuters reports.
Russia has handed over Iskander-M missiles, capable of carrying conventional and nuclear warheads, to the Belarusian armed forces.
However, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said Moscow will retain control over the warheads and any decisions on their use.
