Sweden Wins Eurovision Song Contest with Loreen

On Saturday, Swedish singer and songwriter Loreen won the 67th Eurovision song contest with her hit “Tattoo,” in Liverpool, UK, BBC reports.

This year’s top three performances were:
1. Sweden: Loreen – Tattoo (583 points)
2. Finland: Käärijä – Cha Cha Cha (562 points)
3. Israel: Noa Kirel – Unicorn (362 points)

Loreen, 39, becomes the first woman to win the contest twice, after her first win with Euphoria in 2012.

Her win puts Sweden in first place together with Ireland, each country having achieved seven Eurovision wins.
