On Friday, Elon Musk announced that NBCUniversal advertising chief Linda Yaccarino will become the next CEO of Twitter, CNBC reports.
Musk said that Yaccarino “will focus primarily on business operations,” while he will “focus on product design & new technology”.
On Friday, NBCUniversal said Yaccarino resigned from the company effective immediately. She is expected to start at Twitter in six weeks.
