Pakistan’s Former Prime Minister Imran Khan Released on Bail

On Friday, the Islamabad High Court granted a two-week bail to Pakistan’s former prime minister Imran Khan, Al Jazeera reports.

Earlier this week, Khan was arrested by the National Accountability Bureau on corruption charges.

On Thursday, the Supreme Court declared the arrest “unlawful” and ordered officials to present him before the Islamabad High Court on Friday.
