On Tuesday, Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan was arrested on corruption charges by the National Accountability Bureau, AP News reports.
Khan had arrived at the Islamabad High Court to face charges in graft cases before security agents took him into custody.
Fawad Chaudhry, a senior official with Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party denounced the arrest and called it “an abduction.”
