Match Group, the owner of the dating apps Tinder and Hinge, has announced it will stop operating in Russia by June 30, BBC reports.
The US company says it is “committed to protecting human rights,” while shareholders said its presence in Russia didn’t reflect well on the company.
The decision to completely withdraw from the Russian market comes more than a year after Russia invaded Ukraine.
