In March, Hungary’s inflation fell to 25.2% down from 25.5% the previous month, but still the highest inflation figure in the EU, reports Bloomberg.
The fall in the inflation rate is due to a slowdown in the economy, a stronger currency and lower energy prices in Europe.
The Hungarian government has also introduced price caps on a number of basic goods, which the central bank claims to have worsened inflation.
