On Saturday, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Moscow will station tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus, reports Reuters.
Russia has deployed ten aircraft equipped with the Iskander tactical missile system capable of launching tactical nuclear weapons.
“There is nothing unusual here either: firstly, the United States has been doing this for decades. They have long deployed their tactical nuclear weapons on the territory of their allied countries.”

Putin claims the move does not violate the nuclear non-proliferation treaty.
