On Thursday, Britain announced it will ban TikTok on government phones with immediate effect due to security concerns, reports Reuters.
Britain’s cyber security agency has been asked to investigate how sensitive information could be accessed and used by social media apps.
The decision comes after the US, Canada, Belgium and European Commission banned the app from official devices.
