On Monday, video footage circulated on social media of what appears to show Russian fighters executing a Ukrainian prisoner of war, reports The Guardian.
In the video, the man takes a puff of a cigarette and utters the words “slava Ukraini” – glory to Ukraine – before he is shot dead with a hail of bullets from an automatic weapon.
Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba called for the International Criminal Court (ICC) to immediately investigate the incident.
