On Sunday, Saudi Arabia signed support agreements worth $400 million with Ukraine, reports Bloomberg.
The announcement comes following a surprise visit by Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan.
The visit and the support are described as symbolically important, as Saudi Arabia has previously been accused by the US of getting closer to Russia.
