On Wednesday, Twitter suspended @ElonJet, an account dedicated to tracking the location of Elon Musk’s private jet, after the company updated its doxxing policy.
The account tracked the location of Musk’s private jet using publicly available flight data and had amassed over half a million followers.
In November, Musk tweeted he would not ban the account as an advocate of free speech, after he acquired Twitter for $44 billion.
On Wednesday, Musk tweeted that Twitter’s updated doxxing policy will no longer allow real-time posting of another person’s location, the account was later suspended.
