Elon Musk’s ‘Twitter Files’ Reveals Biden Campaign Asked for the Removal of Hunter Biden Nudes

The “Twitter Files,” reveals that the 2020 Biden presidential campaign asked Twitter to remove nude posts of Hunter Biden in violation of its revenge porn policy.

The 2020 Biden campaign asked Twitter to remove posts, including nude imagery of the president’s son, Hunter Biden, shared without his consent.

The posts violated Twitter’s non-consensual nudity policy and California state law, where Twitter is headquartered.

The posts contained no political content.

“Twitter acting by itself to suppress free speech is not a 1st amendment violation, but acting under orders from the government to suppress free speech, with no judicial review, is.”

– Elon Musk, Twitter Owner, December 3, 2022

Twitter owner Elon Musk and critics argue that the Biden campaign’s request suppressed free speech and was a violation of the First Amendment.

However, proponents point out that the 2020 Biden campaign were not yet government officials and only requested that illegal posts be removed.

“For the millionth time, the First Amendment only applies to the government. Biden was a private individual and his campaign wasn’t the government. The links were literally to accounts that posted nude pictures of Hunter Biden, which is revenge porn and is unlawful in many states.”
