Last week, Twitter cut around 3,700 people, almost half of the company’s workforce. Now they are reaching out to dozens of former employees and asking them to return.
Some workers were laid off by mistake, while others were let go before management realized their work and experience may be necessary for Musk’s new features, according to Platformer.
Over the weekend, Twitter launched the Twitter Blue subscription plan, charging $8 a month for the blue verification check mark.
The social media platform is looking to launch other new features, including half the ads, option to post longer videos and priory ranking in replies, mentions and searches.
