A Russian Su-34 fighter jet has crashed into a residential building in the Russian city of Yeysk, killing at least 13, including three children, and injuring 19 people.
“While climbing to perform a training flight from the military airfield of the southern military district, a Su-34 aircraft crashed. The cause of the crash of the aircraft was a fire in one of the engines during takeoff.“

Five floors of the nine-storey building were on fire, damaging 45 flats. Around 600 people usually live in the building.
The crew of the Sukhoi Su-34 was able to eject before the aircraft crashed, according to the defence ministry.
