Over the weekend, two people were arrested in different parts of the UK for protesting against the monarchy and the ascension of King Charles III.
On Sunday, a 22-year-old woman was arrested outside St Giles' Cathedral in Edinburgh for holding a sing that said "fuck imperialism, abolish monarchy."
In Oxford, a 35-yearo-old man was arrested when he walked past an event where King Charles III was being proclaimed, shouting "who elected him?"
On Monday, a 22-year-old man was arrested in Edinburgh for heckling Prince Andrew as the Queen's coffin was escorted through the city.
"I doubt most of the people in the crowd even heard me. Two or three people near me told me to shut up. I didn't insult them or attack them personally, but responded by saying that a head of state was being imposed on us without our consent."

British police has stated that the various arrests is due to the disturbance and "breach of the peace," and are being investigated for public order offence.
