On Friday, European planemaker Airbus has canceled the rest of Qatar Airways' orders for A350 aircraft, due to quarrel over surface paint issues.
Airbus has cancelled an order of 19 widebody jets to Qatar, after it refused to accept delivery of two A350s in February.
The decision is due to a quarrel over the condition of the jet's paint, Qatar claim the degraded paint poses a threat to safety and airworthiness.
Other carriers like Etihad Airways and Delta Air Lines have also reported degrading paint, but have not made the same claims as Qatar.
The European Aviation Safety Agency sided with Airbus, stating that the paint had no bearing on the aircraft's airworthiness.
As a result, Qatar has sued Airbus in a London High Court, seeking $618 million in damages. The trial will take place next summer.
