Air France and Airbus have been found not guilty of involuntary manslaughter for the 2009 plane crash that killed 228 people, Sky News reports.
A French court could not find sufficient evidence of a direct connection between the companies’ decisions and the crash.
In June 2009, Flight 447 took off from Rio de Janeiro towards Paris, but crashed during a thunderstorm into the Atlantic Ocean.
